Welcome
Hello and welcome. This website is one of a number of activities undertaken by a group of volunteers drawn from the Victorian Public Library Network and the State Library of Victoria working to support the development of libraries in East Timor. Much of the information found in the pages of this website has been drawn from a report writtien by Patti Manolis following two study tours to East Timor over May/June 2004 and January/February 2005. The full report is available in the publications section. In addition we have organised three very successful trivia nights. Funds raised have been transferred to East Timor via the Xanana Gusmao Reading Room for the purchase of new library books and literacy materials.
